Valley Osteopaths is located in the lovely village of Marsden which is in the picturesque Colne Valley. Marsden is on the outskirts of the towns of Huddersfield to the east and Oldham & Manchester to the west. The practice is in the heart of the village on the main street, Peel St.
With Marsden Moor and the Pennines in the background there is plenty to do in the area. You’ll find some really lovely restaurants, pubs and cafes in the village within a minute walk of the practice; so why not not make the most of your visit. Get directions here.
Marsden is easy to find if you are driving. It’s just off the A62 Manchester Rd. This is the main road between Huddersfield and Manchester. It’s nestled between the village of Slaithwaite to the east, and Delph / Uppermill to the west.
Peel Street is the main Street into Marsden where you turn off Manchester Rd. We are opposite the Marsden Mechanics. There is clear signage outside the clinic and a skeleton in the window, you can’t miss us!

Marsden has a train station which is a 5 minute walk from the practice.
There are regular hourly trains to Marsden from Huddersfield, Manchester & Leeds along with other stations on this line.

Marsden in the on the main bus route from Huddersfield with services 185 and 184. There is also a service from Manchester to Marsden. Depending on the service, you can alight on Manchester Road or on Peel Street.

There a few options when it comes to parking:
- Free on street parking on Peel Street.
- There is a large free car park by the railway station about a 5 minute walk to the practice. For directions, click here.
Everything in our clinic is on the ground floor, so we have good disabled access. If you need any assistance please let us know when booking the appointment.
There is a disabled parking space directly outside the clinic. There are no steps into the building so the access is suitable for wheel chairs.
The toilet is on the ground floor but we are sorry to say, it is very small and not wheelchair friendly.
